Detoxification for Connie

My name is Connie and I work in the office of Dr. Abram Ber. I have been working here for 4 years and have seen all kinds of homeopathic and natural modalities while employed here. I am a generally healthy person and use this medicine mostly as preventative. However, this summer I needed to utilize one of the therapies offered here in the office, Hirudotherapy (medical leach therapy). My lower extremities became very swollen and it was painful for me to walk. Dr. Ber had suggested I try this to cleanse my system of all the toxins that may be causing me to swell and feel as if I was walking on pins and needles. I had two sessions, the first was focused on detoxifying my liver, the second was based around the back of my knees. I must admit, I was truly a sceptic, not really liking the idea of a leach on me. I can say in hindsight that there was no discomfort for me in this therapy and that it was the ONLY thing that alleviated my pain! This made a believer out of me. I will definatly be repeating treatment, as I really found that it helped me and has been helping the patients that come in.
